தமிழர் விடுதலைக்கூட்டணியின் தலைவர் வீ. ஆனந்தசங்கரி அவர்கள் தேனீ இணையத்திற்கு வழங்கிய செவ்வி.
கடந்த சனிக்கிழமை ஜெர்மனி ஸ்ருட்கார்ட் நகரில் நீங்களும் புளொட் அமைப்பின் தலைவர் சித்தார்த்தன், ஈ.பி.ஆர்.எல்.எப் (பத்மநாபா) பொதுச்செயலாளர் சிறிதரன் ஆகியோருடன் பங்குகொண்ட வரலாற்று முக்கியததுவம் வாய்ந்த கருத்தரங்கு பற்றி கூறுங்களேன்?.
மூன்று கட்சிகளும் இணைந்து செயற்படுவதை புலம்பெயர்ந்த மக்கள் பெரிதும் வரவேற்றுள்ளதைக் உணரக்கூடியதாக இருந்தது. அது மட்டுமன்றி தமிழ்ப்பிரதேசங்களில் ஜனநாயகத்தை நிலைநாட்டவேண்டும் என்கிற ஆர்வம் பெரிதாகப் பிரதிபலித்தது. பல்வேறு நாடுகளில் இருந்து மூன்று கட்சிகளின் ஆதரவாளர்கள் பங்கொண்ட இக்கருத்தரங்கு புதியதொரு உத்வேகத்தை தந்திருப்பதில் எதுவித சந்தேகமுமில்லை.அதேசமயம் ஜனநாயகத்திற்கான தேவையும் சமாதானத்தையும் எவ்விதத்திலாவது கொண்டு வரவேண்டும் என்பதில் புலம்பெயர் தமிழ்மக்கள் முனைப்பாக இருப்பதை இக்கருத்தரங்கு மேலும் வெளிப்படுத்தி நிற்கிறது. தமிழர் விடுதலைக் கூட்டணியின் தலைவர் ஆனந்தசங்கரி, புளொட் தலைவர் சித்தார்த்தன், ஈ.பி.ஆர்.எல்.எப் செயலாளர் சிறிதரன் ஆகியோர் நேற்றுகாலை ஜெனீவாவில் ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் மனித உரிமைகளுக்கான உயர்ஸ்தானிகர் திருமதி லூயிஸ் ஆபரைச் சந்தித்துள்ளனர். இதன்போது இலங்கையின் மனிதஉரிமை மீறல்கள் தொடர்பில் லூயிஸ்ஆபருக்கு மேற்படி தலைவர்கள் விரிவாக எடுத்து விளக்கியுள்ளனர். முக்கியமாக இராணுவக் கட்டுப்பாட்டுப் பிரதேசங்களில் இடம்பெறும் மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் உடனுக்குடன் வெளியாகும் நிலையில், புலிகளின் கட்டுப்பாட்டு பிரதேசத்தில் இடம்பெறும் மனிதஉரிமை மீறல்கள் வெளியில் தெரியவருவதில்லை என்பது இதன்போது சுட்டிக்காட்டப்பட்டது. அத்துடன் இராணுவக் கட்டுப்பாட்டுப் பிரதேசங்களிலும், புலிகளின் பிரதேசத்திலும் நடைபெறும் மனிதஉரிமை மீறல்களை கண்காணிப்பதற்கு உரிய நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்பட வேண்டுமென்றும் மேற்படி தலைவர்கள் கேட்டுள்ளனர். அதுதவிர இனப்பிரச்சினைத் தீர்வு விடயத்தில் இரு பிரதான கட்சிகளான ஸ்ரீலங்கா சுதந்திரக் கட்சியும், ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியும் இணைந்து ஓர் தீர்வொன்றை முன்வைக்காத பட்சத்தில் இனப்பிரச்சினைக்கான தீர்வினைக் காணமுடியாது என்பதையும், இனப்பிரச்சினைக்கு காணப்படும் தீர்வானது தமிழ்மக்களின் அபிலாசைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்யும் வகையில் அமையவேண்டுமென்பதையும் இந்த சந்திப்பின்போது இவர்கள் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளனர். Anandasangaree has sought cooperation of the leaders and the people of Tamil Nadu, irrespective of their political affiliations, to help “liberate” the Tamil people of the North and East from the subjugation of the LTTE and to find a reasonable solution to the ethnic problem. Mr. V. Anandasangaree, the veteran Tamil politician and the President of the Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) has made two fervent appeals in recent times, one to Vellupillai Prabaharan, the leader of the LTTE, and the other to the ‘Patriotic Citizens of Sri Lanka,’ more or less with the same objective. The objective undoubtedly is to bring sustainable peace to our now bleeding and beleaguered country.
The first appeal in the form of a letter addressed to Prabaharan is to ‘give up arms and the demand for separation, and to accept a federal solution within a united Sri Lanka.’ The second appeal again in the form of an ‘open letter’ addressed mainly to the Sinhala community is ‘to be reasonable and allow a solution on the lines of federalism or at least the Indian model, to once and for all settle the disputes of the ethnic conflict.’
While the two letters or statements by Anandasangaree seem to represent the emerging majority opinion among the Tamil community, the thrust of the statements also seem to constitute the necessary two elements that should come together from the two main communities to resolve the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka in political terms. If that can be achieved, the cooperation of the Muslim community for a lasting solution would undoubtedly be forthcoming. After all, it has been the Muslim community which has to undergo much of the hardships without any direct involvement in the main disputes. (more…)
