1. இன, மத, மொழி வேறுபாடற்ற சமத்துவ சமுதாயத்தை உருவாக்குவதை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு ஐக்கிய இலங்கைக்குள் சமஷ்டி அடிப்படையிலான அரசியற் தீர்வு காணுதல்,
2. ஜனநாயக உரிமைகள், மனித உரிமைகள், அடிப்படை குடியுரிமைகள் ஆகியவற்றிற்கு உத்தரவாதம் செய்தல்,
3. பாதுகாப்பு நிர்வாகம் உட்பட சகல துறைகளிலும் இன விகிதாசாரத்தை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் வகையில் நியமனங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படல்.,
4. அனைத்து தமிழ் பேசும் மக்களுக்கிடையில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள வேறுபாடுகளைக் களைந்து தமிழ்ப் பேசும் மக்களை ஒருமுகப்படுத்த பெரும்பான்மை சமூகத்தினருடன் சமூக கலாச்சார உறவுகளைப் பலப்படுத்துதல்.,
5. வடக்கு- கிழக்கிலிருந்து வெளியேற்றப்பட்ட முஸ்லிம், சிங்கள மக்களை உடனடியாக மீளக் குடியமர்த்தல். அத்துடன் கிழக்கில் சமூகங்களுக்கிடையே ஏற்பட்டுள்ள காணி மற்றும் அடிப்படைப் பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு சுமுகமான தீர்வு காணுதல்.,
6. நிரந்தர அரசியற் தீர்வுக்கான கட்டமைப்பில் வடக்கு-கிழக்க வாழ் முஸ்லிம் அபிலாஷைகளையும் பிரதிபலிக்கக்கூடியதான அரசியற் தீர்வைக் காணுதல்.,
7. தொடரும் படுகொலைகள் நிறுத்தப்படுவதற்கு ஆவன செய்தல்.,
8. சிறுவர்கள் கடத்தப்படுதலும் ஆயுதமயப்படுத்தப்படுதலும் நிறுத்தப்படவும், அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக வாழவும் வகை செய்தல்.,
9. தமிழ் பேசும் மக்கள் மீது விதிக்கப்படும் கப்பம்-சட்ட விரோத வரி அறவிடுதல்கள் நிறுத்தப்படுவதற்கும், அது தொடர்பாக ஆட்கடத்தல்கள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படாதிருக்கவும் வேண்டிய ஏற்பாடுகளைச் செய்தல்.,
10. தமிழ்ப் பேசும் மக்கள் மத்தியில் சுதந்திர ஊடகங்களையும், ஊடகவியலாளர்களையும் பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு எதிராகச் செயற்பட ஊக்குவித்தலின் மூலம் உண்மையான ஊடக சுதந்திரத்தை நிலைநாட்டுதல்
குறிப்பு-காலப்பொருத்தம் கருதி அவர் நீண்ட காலமாக வலியுறுத்தி வரும் இவ்விடயங்கள் இங்கு பதியப்படுகின்றன.

Whoever ordered the burning of the Library in 1981 it was a vindictive act for which the UNP government was responsible. Apart from the irreplaceable materials destroyed, the Library was a public utility, an indispensable source of modern knowledge, books and periodicals to growing generations.
Moves to reconstruct the Library were begun under the last PA government and the execution fell to the newly elected Municipal Council in 1998. The work that was delayed by LTTE threats and its murder of two TULF mayors Sarojini Yogeswaran and Sivapalan, was completed under Mayor Sellan Kandaiyan, a TULF stalwart who had taken on the dangerous job. Charles Pereira to whose comments on Mr. V Anandasangaree we took exception has applauded him in a feature titled “Congratulations to Mr. V Anandasangaree, after terrorism, it should not be intolerance and racism.” However, we are rather mystified by the title and also some of the points he has raised in this feature, which appeared in the Lankaweb today (October 22, 2006). The Tigers have ulterior motives. They want the entire country to come under their total control, and with supportive friends they have among the Sinhalese and the extremists who cannot understand that a majority of the Tamils are against the LTTE, Sri Lanka may fall fully into their hands.
I have been following the recent discussions between The Independent and Lankaweb site with a great interest. It came to my notice that Sinhalese hardliners are currently up in arms against any Tamil person whether they support the LTTE or against it.
Sadly they seem unable to understand the gaping ravine that exists between those who support the LTTE and those who are helplessly trapped against their will. Even a murmur against the LTTE brings brutal death. Such is the LTTE ruthlessness, they can zero on any target with their bullets and grenades anywhere even in high security zones. (more…)

COLOMBO: TULF leader V. Anandasangaree said the Galle and Habarana incidents demonstrate that the LTTE was not interested in peace.
“Instead of sympathy, the LTTE only managed to attract hatred of the international community towards, itself”, Anandasangaree told the Daily News.
“The Habarana, Digampathana suicide bomb attack and yesterday’s suicide attack on the Dakshina Naval Base and the brutal assassination of innocent civilians in Vavuniya are all evidence of the LTTE’s true intentions,” the TULF leader said.
He said with only 10 days remaining for peace talks, such terrorist activities of the LTTE has only generated hatred among the populace towards the outfit.
“The Government should forward a devolution package acceptable to both Tamils and Muslims in association with the Opposition and the International Community,” Anandasangaree said.

தமிழர் விடுதலைக் கூட்டணியின் தலைவர் ஆனந்தசங்கரி அவர்களின் தலைமையில் புளொட், ஈ.பி.ஆர்எல்.எப்- பத்மநாபா கட்சியினர் ஜப்பானின் விசேடத் சமாதானத்தூதுவர் யசூசி அகாசியுடனும், நோர்வேயின் விசேட சமாதானத்தூதுவர் ஹன்சன் பௌவருடனும் சந்தித்து பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தினர்.

இலங்கை இனப்பிரச்சினைக்குரிய தீர்வு ஒன்றுபட்ட இலங்கைக்குள்ளேயே ஏற்பட வேண்டுமென்றும் ஒஸ்லோ, டோக்கியோ உடன்படிக்கைக்கு உட்பட்டதாக அமைய வேண்டுமென்றும் சர்வதேச சமூகம் தொடர்ந்து வலியுறுத்தி வந்த போதிலும் விடுதலைப் புலிகள் தமிழீழத்தை மையமாக வைத்தே செயற்படுகின்றனர். அந்த இலக்கை அடைய அவர்கள் பல்வேறு உபாயங்களை கடைபிடிக்கின்றனர். ஆகவே நாட்டுப் பிரிவினையை சர்வதேச சமூகமோ, இந்திய அரசோ, இலங்கை மக்களோ ஒருபோதும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள் என்பதை விடுதலைப் புலிகளுக்கு தெளிவாக கூறிவைக்க வேண்டும். பிரிவினைக் கோரிக்கையை கைவிட்டு வேறு வழிகளை நாடவேண்டும் என அவர்களுக்குக் கூற வேண்டும். விடுதலைப் புலிகளின் கொடூரமான நடவடிக்கைகளை நேரடியாக அனுபவித்த மக்கள் அவர்களுடைய கட்டுப்பாட்டுப் பகுதிக்குள் அவர்களின் ஆதிக்கத்திற்குள் வாழ ஒரு போதும் சம்மதிக்கமாட்டார்கள.
